Desert Trip in Fayoum....

Last weekend we did our second camping trip in the desert... This time we went closer to Cairo, near Fayoum. See map below!! We camped at the site 5:

Wadi El Rayan was designated a protected Area in 1989. The Valley of the Whales was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in recognition of the 40 millions year-old whale skeleton found here. This open air museum have been established to help people understand the intriguing story of ancient whales and marine life in the desert... (From the Visitor Discovery Guide 2008 at WRPA).

Hi ! Thanks for this beautifuls pictures, but I have an importante question about the people inside the desert : have you seen the little Prince just before the night ? It seems he is on the pictures above, no ? A little boy with golden hairs ... I kiss you. Bru.

Very nice family pics, and very nice desert pics!
