Summer 2009.... Final Part!

Ok now some pictures of our time in France after the Christening... Lots of green!!! we missed that a lot... loved the fresh air and a walk in the vulcanos.. Here with my brother Damien, next to it with my niece Janita... First time for our Dutch family...

Summer 2009.. part-I in Holland...

Village parties in Holland is an old but still very actual tradition... each street has to design and create a wagon... they are busy with this for at least 6 months before the party and then there is the parade and they go around the streets of the village.....

Ready for a trip to Europe!!!

The year is almost up! Our first year in Cairo... it went actually quite fast when we think about it... But the HOT HOT weather is here already and we are ready for some cooler time in Holland and in France! It is already reaching 45oC some days... can't...

Rugby Ball at the pyramids!! amazing.

Yes it was indeed amazing... imagine 1000 persons all dressed up, drinking champagne, eating good food, all that in a lovely company! and having a constant look at the pyramids!!! Can't go wrong!!! I will never forget that.. I can't wait to do it again...

Ballet recital..

It was lovey!! yes yes we are very proud of our little ballerina! Before and after the show... Can't wait until the next one!!! Ok maman ca merite bien un petit message ca ok???? allez allez au boulot!

Visit from Holland via Hurghada to Cairo!!!

Yes we had our first family visit!!! Jacqueline, Herman and the girls started their vacation in Hurghada, where they got all tanned!!! (looked like they are the ones living in Cairo actually!!) and then stopped by Maadi on their way home... We had a great...

Yes, we finally got our very own Shisha!!! And we did think of you Aksam! Lots of fun.... and it reminded us of all the good parties at your place!!! And please check out my husband.... seems quite a natural in his gallibiya right??? More traditional!...
